Distinctive Timbers is a boutique Tasmanian timber specialist. The quality of our rare collection of timeless and exquisitely beautiful Tiger & Burl Myrtle, Musk and Blackwood is second to none in Tasmania. We pride ourselves on offering only the most unique examples of Tasmanias endemic timbers.
Our favourite timber type would have to be "Myrtle", in all its glorious types from soft pink, or the black markings of Tiger Myrtle to the exquisite volcanic stone looking Burl Myrtle which is available in small or sometimes large slabs. We of course hold (depending on availability), stocks of Birdseye Huon and Figured Blackwood in all shapes and sizes even to "guitar kits", from "premium" grade Figured Blackwood.
We send timber both large and small orders Australia wide and overseas door to door and guarantee all our timber.
